ENJOYING THE OLD AGE

06 Oct 2017 ENJOYING OLD AGE Some say it old age, others say it is the ripe age but I stress it is the right age.  No matter, with as much ill comforts, little ailments  with neat habits and diligent practices you can overcome any difficulties and enjoy the richness of life.  I have decided to start loving my semi- retired life fully with practices I  make my habits in the remaining period of my life.   The practices I would like to follow are: 1               Exhaustive reading both newspaper articles, book of fiction (then and now) 2              Jotting down important points coming across in the old unused diaries 3              Regular light exercise like walking, shopping and gardening etc 4           ...

BON VOYAGE

01 Oct 2017 FIRST BON VOYAGE First time, Johny is going abroad and preparation for the packing is planned in advance.  Briefed before hand to be careful about the touts and co passengers who are likely to befriend for safe custody of some articles which may land in trouble due to the banned nature of the product or the likely linking of such products to narcotics etc.  Sunday early in the morning his favourite new black formal pants and white shirt is hand washed and ironed and kept ready for packing.  New hand bag which can carry lap top and other travel documents purchased from super market is arranged for packing.  For a three day programme purchases were made to the tune of Rs.30K which is not likely to be reimbursed by the company. Being a new experience of travel these extravagant spending is ignored or excused.
