Between the wickets
I am a regular reader of the column 'between the wickets ' by Suresh Menon. On Wednesdays when the paper is delivered, the first article comes to my eyes and mind is this. Yesterday I was very much captivated by his witty poetic verses about a batting and bowling genius Steve Smith. Mr Menon draws a sketch about his friend's actions while leaving home to work. It was indeed poetic, but in local Bengali it would have been music to my ears. Because I am a lover of Rabeendra Sangeeth, songs of SD Burman, Mannadey, Kishore and Hemant Kumar. Reading Mr Menon is like an interesting article by Mark Twain or Oscar wilde which I have studied in degree English lessons. Wants to emulate his style in writing notes in my diary also in replying to WhatsApp messages. I wish to read his blogs or published articles if any, but nothing is revealed in Google search.
