A day in Humming garden

Early morning a group of Wren birds descended from the golden shower tree in the yoga park. Three of them fluttered their wings in ecstasy and the male birds perching on the branches came down and hugged them. All together making twittering sounds took their wings and flew away to the nearby cork tree.

Morning  walkers strolled through the streets hither and thither.  While one batch was walking towards the main entrance another batch was returning from the entrance.   A septuagenarian was seen speeding away in his scooty one leg on the pad and another leg kicking  the ground with astonishing momentum. He was later spotted in the basket ball court practicing net lying down.  Another slender man in his sixties was seen walking past, we named him 'invisible' as the thinning exercise will make him the vanishing act in the long run. Ladies who had kept something in the burner made short strides across the diagonal road where they can return to their duty at short notice.  A group of middle aged men and women were seen hunting the hibiscus red and yellow  and plumeria flowers from the home grown garden in villas, for morning pooja or decorating the vasthu kettle. Nobody have time to notice the birds cluttering, they flew away after the performance without an audience.

The security staff were seen keeping the blocking barricades sideways for the smooth movement of vehicles especially the yellow mini buses from various international schools.  Soon the students in colourful uniforms assembled in the park to embark to the buses carrying them to destinations. Parents after sending their wards to school started their preparations to go to office or work from home. The security persons again re installed barricades at regular intervals to control the traffic.

After the rumbling of yellow vans died down it was the turn of office goers in cars, bikes and auto taxis. At around 10 00 am the avenue became quiet.  Only the visiting house maids and cleaning staff of the humming garden were seen busy in their task.  Home makers after seeing of school and office goers started their trip to Mast bazzar the grocery shop in the premises.  Also the makeshift  fresh vegetable market in the garden area which is conducted twice a week was very active with customers choosing their fruits and vegetables.

All the avenues became very quiet, but the cleaning staff maintained their activities in cleaning of street litters and garbage collectors with their four wheeled  cart took their task earnestly.  Rumbling of the carts, mowers of grass in the garden kept on till evening.  Evening after 3.30 the yellow school vans started dropping the exhausted children near their respective houses and they disappeared to their homes for refreshment and brief rest.  After  a brief hiatus they reappeared in the banyan park, clubhouse park and the cricket ground for their workout to have full fledged dinner later on.  The Wren birds performed a parting performance before departing to their nests..But the humming garden continued their tunes.....
